"Our Main Street is our treasure," said Connie Fondow, a Park Rapids teacher, as she emerged from Cottage Charm, a store constructed of logs with antique bicycles hanging on the outer wall. "But when Wal-Mart brings its superstore to town, I worry that Main Street as we know it will be gone forever."
