"That is what scares me, the idea that people see what Bush is doing and they're glad. They want a king, not a president. They want feudalism. They want a king annointed by God, and noblemen, and knights to slay dragons. They're afraid of the dragons, but they don't realize that the same guys that are offering to slay the dragons are the ones that created the dragons. They think when they have a king, they're going to get freedom and safety and opportunity. The Great American mythology says they will, and the king and his noblemen are wrapping the coming feudalism in red, white, and blue, and showing it to you with stirring music and flashy graphics and inspiring slogans, and Americans see the graphics and hear the slogans and think that means freedom."
